Waikato District Council’s Chief Executive, Gavin Ion has lifted the water restrictions in place for Raglan and other parts of the Waikato District.
Mr Ion said, “The Water Alert Level is currently zero, meaning there are no water restrictions in the Waikato District.”
Alert levels were developed to guide our water use in a sustainable manner and to ensure consistent supply throughout the summer and high demand periods.
Meanwhile Council’s water meter in Wainui Road, Raglan is still broken. It is now pointing towards the ground, perhaps indicating the level Zero alert currently in place.
