RaglanTownHallIMG_3089The next Raglan Community Board meeting is Tuesday 12 August at 6pm in the Town Hall Supper Room. 12. Discretionary fund still has $4,636 after unpaid commitments of $5,911 for Placemaking (praise for library furnishings), sculptures and Domain mural.

Are there any issues WED should be taking up? There is still no mention of the claim that at least 2 lease offers for 1 Wi Neera St have been rejected. Will item 7 be released on the website? Quirky that the Raglan Naturally report includes several issues that weren’t in the 2001 plan and that others that were have no implementation plans.
The election could make a big difference to many issues. WED is jointly holding a meet the parties event with the Residents and Ratepayers at 10.30am on Saturday 23 August in the Town Hall. Information about the party’s policies particularly relevant to Raglan is at  2014 General Election Candidate Information and Interweb Links and my comment at the foot of that gives links to other policies too.

Hope to see you then.

Thanks

John.
