Curator says quality of work in exhibition is stunning

Today Susan Flight has been curating the new exhibition opening tomorrow, Saturday 20th at the Raglan Old School Arts Centre.  Susan said that the quality of work is definitely stunning and she has had a difficult task displaying everything to best advantage.  The Raglan Arts Council now has 80 members and many of them are exhibiting new work.  In fact the exhibition is so big that Susan has had to use all 3 rooms to accommodate everybody.  This is a ‘selected exhibition’ and Susan has made a selection from the works submitted rather than attempting to display every single piece.

A feature of the exhibition is a silent auction for a large pottery piece created by Susanne from clay work produced by children at her classes last year.  (See photos below) The exhibition will be open 10am to 3pm daily until the 9th April at the Raglan Old School Arts Centre in Stewart Street.  It wil be closed on Good Friday 2nd April.
