At the beginning of the week we said it seemed that this was a week for the Waikato Times to feature Raglan identities and wondered who else they would be featuring. The Times finished the week on Saturday with an article by Narelle Henson on Rob Galloway and Marie de Jong covering their Soul Shoes business on Raglan Wharf.
The article covers some of the business challenges that Soul Shoes has faced over the years before coming up with the succesful formulae of being on Raglan Wharf and on the internet.
2014 will see Soul Shoes being in business for 40 years and Rob is quoted as saying, “It makes me feel bloody old when they come in and say ‘my mum wore these at school’ And then I think if she was wearing them to school then I’m even older.”
