After being open off and on over the summer, the popular Matapihi Art Gallery is now officially open at 34 Bow St. A Whakatau and Karakia at 10.30am Saturday 27th February saw the community give their blessing to the success of the gallery. A large crowd took part in the opening, held between the two buildings. This was followed by a lunch.
Ardre says that the gallery will complement the other galleries in Raglan with a Maori flavour of its own. The In addition to the art gallery, Ardre Foote will operate her Miri Miri massage practice from the building and life coach Sarah Edwards will also operate from the rooms.
