On the 18th December, Raglan Ramblers will be walking to the pub (Harbour View Hotel). This is a walk with 6km of beach each way via Wainui Reserve. The walk should create a thirst to celebrate Christmas. Along the way they’ll be checking whether the Elephant Rock will be as far out of the sand as it was in 2011.
Walks usually start 9am Wednesdays from Wainui Rd car park (next to Raglan Fire Station). There is no membership – the only cost is 10 cents per km to share travel costs. Details from John 825 7866. Check out Raglan Ramblers on Facebook
