Four Square will be returning to Raglan in a new building being built at 3 Bankart St by Letts Construction.
Katherine Klouwens, Group Communications Manager for Foodstuffs told Raglan 23,
‘We are delighted to say that the proposed new building on Bankart Street in Raglan will be a Four Square.’
Work first started on the building in October 2012 and rumours in Bow St at the time were that it was to be a Four Square. Construction then stalled when it was discovered that an engineered foundation was needed. The site is owned by Ken and Lesley Curtis, former owners of the Four Square in Pirongia and well-known Waikato businessman and Foodstuffs Director, Glenn Miller. Foodstuffs is the cooperative umbrella business that runs New World, Pak n Save and Four Square.
So it won’t be long before Mr Four Square and his good friend Pam are back in Raglan.
Great news
