On Wednesday 3rd July, Raglan Ramblers will be visiting the Toreparu area. This is about a 4km walk just north of Aotea. They’ll be loking at one of Whaingaroa’s 15 large waterfalls (now
with plenty of water in it!) beside a wall of basalt columns. Mkae sure you bring your lunch to eat beside the second largest coastal wetland in North Island.
All walks start 9am Wednesdays from Wainui Rd car park (next to Raglan Fire Station). There is no membership – the only cost is 10 cents per km to share travel costs. Details from John 825 7866. Check out Raglan Ramblers on Facebook
