Raglan Chamber goes mobile for after five

Dirk de Ruysscher explains Bike2Bay to Raglan Chamber of Commerce members

Raglan Chamber of Commerce members went mobile for their Wednesday night after five meeting.  Starting at the offices of White Building and The Travel Broker, they learnt about these businesses under the shade of some trees.

Next it was on to Dirk de Ruysscher at Bike2Bay.  Dirk explained the parts of his business; bike tours, bike sales, bike repairs, bike parts, bike accessories and bike upcycling.  Most of his upcycled creations are sold either to local backpackers or on Trade Me.  His latest bike tour starts with boat trip across the harbour and then a 30km bike ride through Te Akau up to the Nikau Cave where people stay the night before returning the next day to Raglan.  And Lin Van Craenenbroeck covered her creative clothing business and provided some Belgian desert treats.

Next the Chamber members moved on to Orca Restaurant & Bar, where Kerry & Corina Wells explained the arms of their business and the challenges of their first year of operation.
