Ramblers off on a 2-day visit to Mount Pirongia

On Wednesday 10th April, Raglan Ramblers head over the divvy to Mount Pirongia – the highest Waikato mountain. This is a two day trip with a stay overnight  in the hut near the summit. The climb is 800 metres with a walk of 28km. The cost of the night in the hut is $5.

All walks start 9am Wednesdays from Wainui Rd car park (next to Raglan Fire Station).  There is no membership – the only cost is 10 cents per km to share travel costs.  Details from John 825 7866.   Check out Raglan Ramblers on Facebook
