Tournament Conditions and Rules

The Tournament Target Species is GURNARD

Please release all juvenile and under sized fish

1. Briefing will be held at the Club, Friday 4th January 2013 at 7.30pm

2. A Representative of each team or individual MUST attend.

3. You must be a registered angler before start of fishing

4. Rule book and MAF documentation will be in your starter packs

5. Beware, read and understand, the tournament DISCLAIMER in the tournament RULE BOOK which will be included in your STARTER PACK.

6. Start fishing is early. Stop fishing – You have to be in the queue at the Raglan Club Weigh Station by 4pm

7. Only tournament registered lady anglers can weigh in Gurnard and present their heaviest Gurnard of the day at the weigh station. That fish will be labeled and held by the committee.

8. Fishing is off shore, in boats, our coastline, beach, rocks, wharf, jetties and upper harbour – wherever

9. You can use handlines, rods & reels, kontikis, longlines, kites, electric reels. Please show respect to other beach users such as swimmers/surfers.

10. All boats must comply with navigational safety by-laws and boats with no VHF call sign must fill in extra boat details when registering

11. Only early bird entries of $25 that were paid by 8pm on the 22nd December will be eligible to go into the EARLY BIRD DRAW. Lateentries of $30 after the 22nd will not be included.

12. Valued prizes are for the — Top 10 Heaviest Gurnard * Average Weight * Early Bird Draw * Best Dressed Team * Spot Prizes

13. All prizes will be appropriate only to registered lady anglers.

14. If weather cancels both days – 5th January and the back-up date 12th January there will be a dry draw on the evening of the 12th at the Club. You must be at the Club to receive any prizes.

15. There will be NO REFUNDS
