On Monday 3rd, Thabun Bakery opened at 37 Bow Street. Seem to have a cool selection of treats available! And some tables outside to enjoy them on.
And further down Bow Street, work in underway on renovating the recently closed Zaragoza Cafe and word on the street is that it will reopen soon.
There is still no sign of any action in the replacement building on Raglan Wharf other than some ‘to let’ signs posted by Lodge Real Estate of Hamilton.
But next door in the green shed, notices around town indicate an expansion of art activities near the Tony Sly Pottery with a Raglan Artisan Studio Gallery & Indoor Market being planned. The notice invites interested people to contact Tony, Chantal and Jemma to become part of Raglan’s first Artisan Studio Gallery & Indoor Market. The market will be located at the Raglan Wharf creating a hub for local artists, craftspeople and designers.
The notice says that there are five studio/office spaces available on a long-term basis for $100 per week and then 10 market stalls available at weekends for $25 per day. It adds for more info contact Chantal on 022 196 7310 or email Jemma info@mamakuka.c0.nz or talk to Tony if you happen to see him around.
