Threatened storms stayed from Raglan Whaingaroa today Sunday allowing the WHÄNAU ORA Day to go ahead at the Poihakena Marae.
The day was aimed at establishing, understanding and nurturing relationships with health providers and services within but not limited to the Raglan area. The day started at 9.30am with a powhiri. Then provider stalls opened in marquees around the marae with formal sessions in the Wharenui. During the day there were performances by Saint Joesphs Maori Girls College and by local groups.
