Mysterious signs popped up around Raglan on Saturday. They are posted on street sign posts, power poles and on Real Estate For Sale signs. The message was, “Raglan house & land price are falling so settle for LESS“.
Owner of Raglan Real Estate Ltd (Ray White), Dave Hanna, noticed the signs and said they were a mystery to him and advised that his company had not put them up. Margaret Kerapa, Manager of the Raglan Branch of George Boys & Co. Ltd (Century 21) said she was unaware of the signs and advised that her company had not put them up.
A few weeks ago an article in the Waikato Times claimed that real estate prices in Raglan had fallen. The article contained no data to back up this claim although it had an ad hoc comment from a Raglan real estate agent. Apart from that all a bit of mystery.
